Rochester Building and Damp are delighted to announce their nomination for the Small Business Awards 2022 in the Restoration & Preservation Category. The socially distanced event will be held at The Ropeyard Centre in Woolwich, South East London on March 8th in the new year. Martin Sykes and Emma Page from Rochester Building and Damp have recently gained considerable recognition within the UK timber and damp industry as a result of their drive to encourage the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly damp proofing products and building materials. Established as a family business in 1989 by brothers George and Kenneth McLean, the company was sold to Martin and Emma in 2019. Dan McLean the son of co-founder George continues to work for Rochester Building and Damp both in an advisory capacity and as a surveyor/operative. Rochester Building and Damp are Medway’s premier damp-proofing and damp-control specialists.
