Preliminary works have commenced at two adjoining industrial units in Strood.
A severe ingress apparently went unreported for several years, causing considerable deterioration.
Following recent closure of the business on site, it’s come to light that the units received only rudimentary checks throughout the tenure of their lease.
Utilising the latest thermal imaging technology, the source of ingress had been traced to underground drainage during the initial inspection. Groundworks are already underway, with completion of works expected mid-October.
