Rochester Building and Damp, a small local business in Medway has won the prestigious Aqua Dale Awards 2023 in the Small Local Business Category. The award ceremony was held at the Aqua Dale Conference Rooms in Aylesbury last night and the atmosphere was electric as Mr. Martin Sykes, owner of R.B.D received the trophy. This is the first time a damp proofing company has won at the Aqua Dale Awards and the judges were impressed by the quality of work and dedication shown by Rochester Building and Damp to the people and historic buildings of Kent. The company has been in operation for nearly thirty years and during that time it has built a reputation for providing high-quality damp proofing services to the local community.
Mr. Sykes, who has recently moved to Cliftonville in Margate was thrilled to receive the award. He said, “It’s a great honor to receive this fantastic trophy and I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved as a small business. We’ve worked hard to build a reputation for quality work and customer service and it’s gratifying to be recognized for that.”
Rochester Building and Damp’s success can be attributed to its commitment to providing excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship. The company uses the latest technology and materials to ensure that its clients’ homes are protected from damp and other water-related problems.
The Aqua Vale Awards were established to recognize the achievements of small local businesses in the Aylesbury area. The awards are open to businesses of all sizes, and the judging panel looks for companies that have made a significant contribution to the local community.
